Since 1995, Anand Pawar, a social activist, has worked in the area of social development. With a background in social work and development communication, he has demonstrated strong participation in advocating for the rights of communities. His main areas of interest are sexuality, masculinities, gender equality, and violence against women. He has been actively involved in campaigns to advocate for policies pertaining to the health rights of urban poor people and the provision of urban health care services in India. He actively promotes gender equality among boys and men by participating in national and international networks and conferences.
